Laborer - $20/hr CAN START Immediately

Job Opportunity: Laborer

Join a dynamic team as a laborer on a large-scale manufacturing construction project at the Honda battery plant in Jeffersonville, OH. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 5:00pm, with potential for occasional Saturdays. Protective equipment is provided, except for boots/composite shoes, pants, and high visibility shirts.

Responsibilities:

• Unloading, loading, and unstuffing cargoes from trailers or shipping containers.
• Uncrating, crating, unpacking, packing, and moving cargoes using manual or powered hand tools and material handling equipment.
• Relocating and roughly setting cargoes to designated locations on the production floor using manual or powered hand tools, manual toe jacks, and material handling equipment like manual skates, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

Essential Skills:

• General labor experience.
• Construction experience.
• Materials handling experience.
• Ability to use hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 certification is required.
• Lift certification is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in construction labor, landscape, farm hand, or related outdoor labor jobs.
• Ability to be on your feet outside for long periods.
• Comfortable working both outside and inside.
• Ability to bend, crawl, and walk numerous times throughout the day.

Work Environment:

The work takes place at the Honda battery plant in Jeffersonville, OH. This role involves working in a large-scale manufacturing construction environment, often outside in the heat and sometimes inside. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 5:00pm, with potential for occasional Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
