About the Role:
As a Residential Door To Door Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for directly engaging with potential residential customers at their homes to sell products and services. This role involves building rapport with individuals, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the value and benefits of the products being offered. You will often work independently, managing your schedule and territories to maximize sales opportunities. We prioritize your comfort year-round—with thoughtful perks like air-conditioned vehicles, cooling towels, popsicles, and chilled water during hot summer days, and cozy beanies, hand warmers, and hot cocoa when winter rolls in. Individuals with experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, and canvassing roles are encouraged to apply, as transferable skills like communication, relationship building and resilience are highly valued.
What You'll Do:
You will be responsible for selling Kinetic internet products and services to potential customers within your designated territory near your location. Our user-friendly technology eliminates internal channel conflicts, thereby maximizing your sales potential. You will utilize a company-owned vehicle to visit prospects, process orders, ensure service activation, set up accurate billing, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction, which will help build a strong referral network. Meeting sales targets for products and services is expected, and you have the option to attend Kinetic special events to expand your network and enhance your sales opportunities. Participate in our dynamic 5-week Sales Residency program that equips you with the essential skills and industry knowledge to succeed. As a unique benefit, you'll be provided with a company-owned air-conditioned vehicle early in your training, empowering you to hit the ground running. Additionally, each new employee will have the opportunity to attend a one-week onsite training and coaching event where they will meet leaders, peers, and learn through hands-on experience about the job. Do You Have:
Sales experience. Excellent customer service and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and a good driving record. A reliable and insured personal vehicle is needed to drive to and from assigned territories until you receive your company-owned vehicle. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with others. Familiarity with mobile devices such as iPads and iPhones? Self-motivation and a desire for success. The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and cover terrains ranging from paved, gravel, dirt, and hilly roads. Employees who work virtually are required to maintain a distraction-free workspace and ensure they have a high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps. Bi-lingual, English & Spanish, a plus.
