Our IT Manager of Hosting, Network, and Data Services is responsible for developing and executing the strategy, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's data management, network, and hosting environments. This Manager ensures secure, reliable, and scalable IT operations, aligning with WPS's business objectives while mitigating risks related to security, performance, compliance, and vendor dependencies. This Manager will help support and oversee third-party vendor relations, resources, and performance including SLA compliance and contractual enforcement. They will lead hosting and network engineers and be responsible for their coaching and development.
Salary Range $125,000 ~ $165,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and may fall outside of this range.
Work Location Our first consideration will be to have this new employee live in the state of Wisconsin to take advantage of Hybrid work and collaboration. Employees within 45 miles of WPS Headquarters (1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI) will be expected to be able to work 3 days on-site a week. As a secondary consideration, we do offer remote work in the following approved states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin. If not regionally local to Madison, WI, frequent monthly travel to our WPS Headquarters (1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI) will be expected.

Minimum Qualifications US. citizenship is required for this position due to Department of Defense restrictions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 7 or more years of experience in IT infrastructure, hosting, network and/or data platform management. 3 or more years in management and people leadership - IT vendor management or IT operations management roles. Strong understanding of IT service management and vendor governance frameworks. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Extensive knowledge of both on-prem and cloud hosting solutions. Strong knowledge of the following aspects of Information technology: Network operations, network security.
