Transportation: Transports supplies, personnel, and equipment to all locations in a safe and efficient manner. Picks up supplies and other materials and delivers to the main location. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle. Assist employees at off sites with setting up and breaking down operations. Use established par levels, temp logs for all deliveries. Ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner. Use cell phone to stay in contact with operations.
Duties: Use hospital vehicle to transport supplies and equipment from base location to offsite locations. Plan driving routes which are direct and time efficient. Report maintenance issues to coordinator or manager. Practice safe and correct driving techniques. Coordinate delivery and pick up responsibilities with other drivers for peak efficiency.
Sanitation and Conservation: Complete transportation records for quantifies prepared and record waste. Handle food in a sanitary manner; maintain food at temperatures above 140 or below 41 degrees. Complete transportation logs according to established times on a regular basis.
Customer Service: Demonstrate effective customer service to fellow employees, customers, managers, and visitors. Follow CARES standards at all times. Performs other duties as assigned.
Safety: Maintain safety program within the department. Ensure safety concerns are reported appropriately. As a subject matter expert will be expected to train others.
No directly related experience. Valid/Good-standing Drivers License. Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
