 
                                                
                                            As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, fixing, and debugging our machines at customer sites nationally. Responsibilities include conducting thorough machine inspections using advanced Maintenance Management tools and reporting on their status. You will also read logic, adjust machines mechanically/electrically to fit the logic, advise the service coordinator on potential upgrades and retrofits to keep machines at the cutting edge, and contribute to the improvement of Maintenance Management Tools. Additionally, you will maintain equipment, provide hands-on training to customers, deliver comprehensive training using detailed documentation, help build and test new equipment at the factory, and install equipment and upgrades in the field. You will also be ready to visit customers in person if remote service isn't sufficient.
Essential skills include troubleshooting, electrical, maintenance technician, repair, and PLC troubleshooting. Additional skills and qualifications include 2+ years experience working on heavy machinery, experience interacting with Rockwell PLCs, experience reading electrical drawings, and experience working with 480 volt equipment.
The role involves national travel to customer sites for on-site service. You'll be working with advanced machines and interfacing with various technologies, including PLCs and electrical systems. The position requires hands-on involvement with machinery and may necessitate working with high-voltage equipment. Expect a dynamic environment where continuous learning and adaptation are essential.
This is a permanent position based out of Aurora, Ohio. The pay range for this position is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00/yr. The position is anticipated to close on Nov 5, 2025.
