 
                                                
                                            We are seeking a Construction Materials Engineering Technician to join our Field Services Group. The Engineering Technician will be responsible for testing and inspecting building materials, including concrete, masonry, asphalt, soil, and structural steel, to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and building codes. This role involves working on-site at various construction sites, including commercial, warehouse, and school projects. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience and/or certifications related to construction materials testing, although we also welcome candidates with experience in masonry, concrete, or construction who are eager to learn.

Work Environment
Work is primarily local to the Dayton/Cincinnati area, with no overnight travel required. The position involves outdoor work in various weather conditions, and technicians will be on their feet for most of the day. The company provides consistent work year-round, rarely conducts layoffs, and offers bi-annual bonuses. Employees are encouraged to pursue certifications with company support. A fleet of vehicles is available for use, and mileage is reimbursed if personal vehicles are used. Opportunities for advancement into the Engineering group are available for those with an engineering degree.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
