This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems, a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation's intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Position: Supports the AFLCMC Presidential and Executive and Airlift Directorate located at Wright-Patterson AFB. AFLCMC/WV acquires and sustains special-purpose aircraft, including technologies and capabilities for command, control, communications, militarization, survivability and Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and executes Foreign Military Sales (FMS on common aeronautical systems. This position specifically supports the VC-25B program office. This person is responsible for managing the technical content and format of assigned flight manual publications.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops system architectures, and defines key capabilities and performance requirements.
• Defines total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements.
• Develops system element architecture and design and interface definitions.
• Defines system implementation approach and operational concept.
• Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.
• Familiar with the following:
• Flight Crew Ops Manual (FCOM)
• Quick Reference Handbook (QRH)
• Communications System Operator Manual (CSO)
• Flight Attendant Manual
• Baggage Cargo Loading Manual
• Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (Flight Operations)
• Dispatch Deviation Guide (Flight Operations)
• Responsible for managing the technical content and format of assigned flight manual publications.
• Issue all ITOs/RACs affecting the assigned weapon system/commodity.
• Ensure new or modified flight manual data is verified as soon as possible to ensure flight crew members do not operate aircraft without proper flight manual data IAW AFI DAFI 63-101/20-101

Minimum Qualifications:

• + 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• + Must have an active Secret clearance.
• + Experience, understanding and/or background in:
• AFI 11-215
• AFT 00-5-3
• DAFI 63-101/20-101

Physical Requirements:

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
