This position is for an Evendale-based component engineer on a fluids system (fuel, oil, pneumatic, etc). You will be responsible for defining and managing component requirements that pertain to supplier-designed fluids hardware, starting from initial concept through design, development, and validation and culminating in a product vision. Examples of this hardware include pumps, filters, heat exchangers, hydraulic-actuated air valves, and electro-hydraulic servo valves. The position requires you to execute system and component analyses, coordinate within a multi-disciplinary team, integrate the system with the engine and airframe, and validate the design through testing.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
