We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician responsible for hands-on maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of PLC systems and various electronic systems. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, programming and troubleshooting PLCs, and working with a variety of systems including controls, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs of electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot and program PLC systems, specifically Allen Bradley.
• Address breakdowns through work orders using a CMMS system.
• Assist with equipment installations and upgrades in the plant.
• Complete preventive maintenance of electronic equipment.
• Work on SMP presses and troubleshoot systems including press controls, PLCs, robots, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct new equipment installations and work with press controls and robotics systems.
• 4+ years of industrial electronics, PLCs, maintenance electrician, or controls and robotics experience.
• Experience with ladder logic and strong PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in controls systems, specifically using servo control systems.
• Ability to dial into a PLC, set up a laptop, and monitor/troubleshoot systems.
• Experience in the automotive supplier industry is a plus.
• Robotics experience is advantageous.
• Certification in maintenance, electrical, or an associate's degree in electronics is preferred.
• Experience in PLC or robotics programming is a plus.

Work the 1st shift from 5am to 3pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential for 12-hour days and some overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed. This is a direct hire position in a union facility, though this role is salaried and non-union. The company is a Tier 1 supplier, manufacturing hoods and hard tops for major automotive customers.
This is a Permanent position based out of North Baltimore, Ohio.
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
• Salaried position however they will receive time and a half for anything over 40 hours.
• Vacation time is really good - take into account yrs experience in the field. For example if they have 8 yrs of maint experience they will get hired in with 13 days of vacation (extra 2 weeks if they hold a journeyman card).
