Employment Specialist
Belco Works, Inc. has been providing work opportunities for adults with disabilities for over 50 years. The Employment Specialist will support individuals to acquire employment related skills while working as a team. This position assists adult individuals with developmental disabilities in acquiring employment skills. The Employment Specialist is responsible for providing vocational support services to individuals served. Provides group and individual instruction and assist individuals in securing employment opportunities. Observes, evaluates and documents individual's performance, skills, and behavior in a timely and accurate manner. Communicates and prepares reports and training progress. Assists individuals to overcome personal, social or behavioral problems affecting their vocational situations.
Our minimum qualifications include:
- Must be at least the age of 18
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Social Security card or authorization to work in the United States
- Satisfactory background check
- Satisfactory drug test
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain training and qualifications as required under all applicable Ohio Rules and Regulations
