Cloud Operations Engineer
A global software development company is seeking an ongoing contractor to join the team remotely as a cloud operations engineer. The main initiatives of this team are to support an AWS migration, create an IAC framework and a Cloud Management Platform, support customer engagements and serve as a cloud vendor liaison.
Skills and requirements:
- Terragrunt/Terratest & GoLang scripting
- 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering/Infra as Code
- Understand both cloud and on-prem architecture and be able to work with the according tools (how they operate, how to automate them and interact with them)
- Development/Developer background
- Terraform/Ansible/Puppet/Chef experience
- Strong scripting experience with Python
- CI/CD experience (concourse, GitLab, Bitbucket, Github, Jenkins)
- Containerization experience - using docker/Kubernetes
