Controls Engineer

We are looking for a controls engineer who will be responsible for fulfilling project assignments, individually or as part of a project team. Assignments may include involvement in multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide engineering detail to and work with internal drafting resources to develop drawings.
• Develop technical documentation and specifications.
• Write PLC and HMI application software.
• Configure AC / DC drive equipment.
• Develop system test plan documents, simulation code, and perform system testing.
• Coordinate with project management, technical leads, and/or end customers to commission systems.

Must have:

• Program PLCs from scratch (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE)
• 3+ years relevant experience
• Ability to configure AC / DC drive equipment
• Heavy industrial automation experience required
• Ability to develop controls systems test plans, and test, troubleshoot, and commission systems
• Willingness to travel 40%

Job type & location: This is a contract to hire position based out of Willoughby, OH.

Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $50.48/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
