TE4 – Construction Area Engineer
The District 12 Capital Programs Department is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio who is passionate about public service, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, conscientious, self-directed, adaptable problem solvers, and takes initiative to manage issues independently. The candidate should have a good understanding of construction engineering & administration, general engineering principles, and the ODOT project development process. The candidate should be proficient in reading and interpreting plans and contract documents, as well as have strong communication skills for interacting and building relationships with various team members, project stakeholders, public officials, contractors, and external customers. The selection process for this position will include a structured interview. Candidate responses to the interview questions will be scored and the selection will be made in accordance with the OCSEA/AFSCME Contract. This position is overtime exempt based on FLSA Standards.
