The Division of Livestock Environmental Permitting (DLEP) is currently seeking an experienced Engineer to fill the Natural Resources Engineer 3 (NRE3) position. The selected candidate will be headquartered out of ODA's main Reynoldsburg office which offers free parking, engagement activities, and frequent food trucks (especially coffee trucks)!

Qualifications:
Certificate of registration as professional engineer issued by State Licensing Board AND 12 months experience as Natural Resources Engineer 2, 85742 OR 12 months equivalent related engineering experience OR Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated licensure.
Unusual Working Conditions: May be exposed to inclement weather & unsafe conditions during inspection of projects to include walking long and short distances, climbing & navigating rough terrain, steep slopes & embankments & spillways & ladders while carrying needed equipment; in Ohio Department of Agriculture, frequent contact with animals, manure, dust, & odors. Training & Development Required to Remain in Classification After Employment: Renewal of certificate of registration as professional engineer as prescribed by law.
