Compensation: $21.93/hour
Schedule: Part-time, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm | weekend as needed
Job Description: Works under general supervision to provide recovery-oriented services that promote empowerment, independence, and well-being. Designs and facilitates recovery-based services and supports to assist individuals in achieving personal recovery goals. Offers assistance with daily living, emotional and social support, and connections to clinical care and community resources. Utilizes personal recovery experience, when appropriate, to encourage and inspire hope. Leads and coordinates recovery-related groups, teaching coping skills, relaxation techniques, and wellness strategies. Mentors clients/residents through the recovery process by promoting empowerment, goal-setting, and self-advocacy. Educates clients/residents on available peer services, rights processes, advance directives, and supplemental support programs. Assists with completing forms and applications for resources such as residential state supplement programs.
Qualifications: Requires current certification as Peer Recovery Supporter in accordance with OAC 5122.29.15. Job Skills: Mental Health. Official transcripts are required for all post-secondary education, coursework, or degrees listed on the application.
