 
                                                
                                            Clerical support position providing administrative assistance to multiple departments to support District 5. This role requires balancing tasks for different areas while maintaining accuracy, organization and attention to detail. Performs public relations duties. Greets visitors to the complex; researches & responds to inquiries & complaints (via call center, in-person and/or electronic communication); furnishes information & explains programs to public; works on special assignments & projects as directed; prepares reports, publications, memos & presentations for dissemination outside work unit using a computer & related software (e.g., Microsoft Office). Assist in preparing & monitoring budgets; processes bills for payment; searches purchasing contracts; tracks purchase orders; pays invoices; purchases materials: maintains records utilizing a computer & related software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Nuvolo); serves as cost center liaison for variety of ODOT programs (e.g., boot, jacket, & uniform coordinator, adopt a highway); maintains variety of records; Prepares facility for meetings; takes minutes at meetings & publishes & distributes them; schedules meetings; manages the office's calendar &/or e-mails.
