As we enter a significant period of growth, we are scaling our Capital Markets Operations team to support our increasingly sophisticated funding reporting requirements.
We are looking for a Capital Markets Operations Manager to lead the production of our institutional investor reporting requirements. This is a senior role within the Finance team, responsible for managing Capital Markets Operations and ensuring the integrity of our funding lines.
You will be the primary lead for all institutional investor reporting and will work cross-functionally with Tech, Data, and Operations to solve complex data challenges. We are looking for an individual with a proven ability to deliver and the desire to help improve this growing area of the business as we look to continue to expand our different funding lines. Responsible for overseeing all external institutional investor reports, including month-end reports, facility utilisation requests, and weekly origination reports
Work with a variety of different data sources and navigate large complex data sets which underpin the investor reports
Act as the lead problem-solver for reporting discrepancies, with the ability to perform deep-dive reconciliations between granular loan-level datatapes and facility summary reports to identify and resolve root causes within complex datasets
Work alongside the Capital Markets deal team to understand the transaction documentation, internal processes and securitisation terminology
Work closely with the Data, Product and Operations teams to improve our processes, enhance data quality and enable efficient management of our funding lines
Responsible for managing and overseeing investor cash sweeps, along with reconciling bank data
Monitor transaction covenants and performance triggers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Responsible for managing investor audit requests, including pulling together materials for external audits and responding to auditor's queries
Collaborate with the Capital Markets, Product and Data teams to design reporting requirements for new products/ new funders
Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring high performance and accuracy across all deliverables
Help promote the culture of a "data-driven mindset" across the business
5 - 10 years of experience in data/ reporting in financial services (ideally within automotive, leasing, or a similar asset class)
Extensive experience working with complex and challenging data sets
Financial literacy (ideally familiarity with securitisation facilities)
A demonstrated ability to own and deliver reporting projects
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets and a solid command of SQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach to accuracy and control
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritise across different workstreams and tight deadlines
