✨ About The Role
- As an Enterprise Account Manager at Octopart, you will be selling a platform to a set of named target accounts, primarily to C-Suite and director-level personas.
- You will be responsible for onboarding, ongoing account management, and long-term retention and growth of enterprise customer relationships and revenue.
- You will need to identify and communicate readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks to ensure forecasted revenue is realized on or ahead of schedule.
- You will be expected to manage execution of significant or complex contracts, including initial intake and renegotiation of terms and schedules.
- You will be tasked with managing and updating the pipeline of opportunities within SalesForce.
- The role requires availability and willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements.
- The compensation range for this role is $140,000 to $260,000, with the actual package depending on various factors such as skill set and experience.

- You should have at least 6 years of experience in business development or account management.
- Your experience should include working with customers to support a technical product or service.
- You are capable of building long-term and successful customer relationships by demonstrating empathy, active listening, and resiliency skills.
- You possess significant technical knowledge of design software or related technology.
- You have a proven track record of demonstrating sound business judgment and making successful recommendations.
- You are skilled in negotiating contracts both before and after they are signed.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting and presenting professional presentations at all levels.
- You are open to travel as needed for customer site visits and meetings.
- Experience in the technology industry is strongly preferred, especially if you have experience selling software as a service product.
