Real opportunities. Real impact. Your career, redefined.
At Oceans, we believe that talent knows no boundaries. That's why we connect the best and brightest professionals with career-defining opportunities that challenge, inspire, and accelerate their career growth. Our community, whom we call Divers, don't just work—they dive deep, solve complex challenges, and make a real impact with global industry leaders. And in doing so, they don't just support bold ideas—they expand their skills, broaden their expertise, and grow their careers.
We're hiring an Operations Manager (internally referred to as Pod Leader) to guide, support, and coach a portfolio of client-facing Divers—professionals who are embedded with global clients and trusted to deliver with excellence every day. As the direct manager of approximately 60 Divers, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping their experience at Oceans, helping them thrive in their roles while aligning with our values, standards, and long-term vision.
This is a high-accountability people management role ideal for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, strong business judgment, and a genuine commitment to talent development.
As an Operations Manager, your success will be measured by Diver performance, retention, and engagement. From leading fortnightly check-ins to collaborating with stakeholders on integration and performance management, you'll act as the steady hand behind every Diver's growth journey. Here's how you'll make an impact:
Your primary partners will be the Divers themselves. Internally, you'll work hand-in-hand with the Training, HR, Integration Success, and Client Success teams to ensure each Diver has the support they need to succeed. You'll also coordinate with Sales when account expansion opportunities arise.
While working cross functionally, this role will report directly to our Head of Diver Success, who will support your leadership development and strategic contribution to our talent model.
At Oceans, we believe in T-shaped individuals—those who bring deep expertise in one area, paired with broad curiosity and interests. As an Operations Manager, your vertical focus will be leading and managing people—especially in client-facing, fast-paced environments. Your horizontal range may include understanding business strategy, global operations, training, and employee experience.
To excel in this role, you should have:
Diversity of experience is core to Oceans. You are expected to work inclusively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ensuring that both personal and collective dignity are supported.
During the interview process, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in the following areas:
This is a hybrid role. Operations Managers are expected to be in-person approximately 1–2 days per week. During the offer process, we'll share more information about our benefits and compensation philosophy, while providing an opportunity to update our understanding of both market and individual factors.
At Oceans, we build remote teams that connect the world's top 1% of talent with visionary leaders. With us, you're not just doing a job—you're redefining your career with opportunities designed to unlock your potential. We welcome the chance to discuss the complementary parts of our business during your interview process and encourage questions about where we are and where we are going.
