Be a key contributor to powering OCBC with data! As an EDW Team Intern, you'll play a critical role in optimizing our data pipelines and ensuring the reliability of our data infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise-level data systems and contribute to the efficiency of our core operations.

To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong analytical mindset and a passion for problem-solving. You'll excel at identifying opportunities for automation, optimizing data flows, and ensuring data quality. A proactive approach and a willingness to learn new technologies will be key to your success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Automating the process of assessing the impact of changes to Control-M jobs, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
  • Optimizing data pipelines to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Contributing to the development of a robust Quality Assurance (QA) framework for our data systems.
  • Analyzing data flows and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to implement solutions.

You'll be joining the EDW Team within Enterprise Data – a vital function responsible for managing and delivering high-quality data across OCBC. You'll collaborate with experienced data engineers, analysts, and architects, gaining valuable insights into the world of enterprise data warehousing.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Possesses good data skills and a foundational understanding of data principles.

Familiar with at least one programming language or scripting language (e.g., Python, SQL, Bash).

Demonstrates strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.

This internship will provide you with:
