As an intern in Business Planning & Analysis, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Group Lifestyle Financing team in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing operational efficiency. This internship offers you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, process optimization, and data management while working alongside a team committed to innovation and excellence.

To excel in this role, you'll need to demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex financial data. Your technical proficiency in tools like MS Excel, Access, SQL, and VBA will be key to streamlining processes and delivering impactful results. A collaborative mindset and the ability to connect different pieces of data will enable you to contribute meaningfully to the team's success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Radial Project Phase 2 to automate country/segment/product reports for SG and the Group.
  • Collaborate with IT developers to refine extraction criteria and resolve discrepancies between current and future reports.
  • Cleanse and organize data, rethink/revamp/automate existing reporting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial forecasts and budgets, enhancing your ability to make sense of complex financial information.

You'll be part of the Business Planning & Analysis team within Group Consumer Financial Services, a dynamic group dedicated to driving strategic insights and operational excellence. The team works closely with various stakeholders across the bank to ensure data accuracy, process efficiency, and informed decision-making.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Mathematics).

A strong analytical mindset with excellent logical reasoning skills.

Advanced MS Excel capabilities and comfort working with large datasets.

Proficiency in MS Access, SQL, and VBA is highly desirable.

Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to connect different pieces of data.

A collaborative and curious mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
