Your opportunity starts here.

The Hybrid IT Solutioning Engineer is responsible for designing and governing hybrid infrastructure solutions spanning on-premises platforms and cloud services. The role supports business and technology initiatives by delivering solutions that are operationally sound, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with enterprise standards.

The candidate should have 8–10 years of relevant experience in a bank, system integrator, or technology distributor, with strong exposure to infrastructure and hybrid IT solutioning. Depending on the solution domain, the engineer may act as the SME or coordinate specialist inputs, while remaining accountable for the overall outcome.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading hybrid IT solutioning engagements from requirements definition through approval and handover to delivery.
  • Owning solution outcomes covering architecture integrity, security, operational readiness, and cost alignment.
  • Acting as the SME for infrastructure domains within own expertise (e.g. virtualization, storage, DR, cloud).
  • Where not the SME, coordinating internal SMEs and vendors to drive a complete end-to-end solution.
  • Developing technical solution proposals that are management-friendly, clearly outlining architecture and design approach, key dependencies and assumptions, risks, resilience, and operational considerations.
  • Presenting and explaining solution proposals to management, translating infrastructure complexity into business-relevant implications such as availability, cost, and risk.
  • Engaging vendors to source, validate, and consolidate solution costs.
  • Producing cost proposals that are clear, structured, and aligned to approved budgets.
  • Supporting RFP and sourcing activities in partnership with procurement.
  • Ensuring a smooth and effective transition from solutioning to project delivery.

Technical requirements include:

  • Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • On-premises infrastructure (virtualization, compute, storage)
  • Storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Hybrid connectivity between on-premises and cloud
  • Infrastructure monitoring, automation, and resilience design
  • Experience operating within regulated, large-scale environments
  • Understanding of standards, controls, and operational requirements

Relevant cloud or infrastructure certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.

Candidate profile includes:

  • 8–10 years of experience in infrastructure or hybrid IT solutioning roles.
  • Experience delivering solutions across multiple infrastructure domains.
  • Comfortable owning outcomes even when detailed design inputs are provided by other SMEs.
  • Able to communicate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences and management.
  • Structured, disciplined, and comfortable working within governance and approval frameworks.

Key competencies include:

  • Solution ownership and accountability
  • Strong hybrid IT and infrastructure design capability
  • Ability to translate technical designs into business outcomes
  • Cost management and budgeting awareness
  • Vendor engagement and sourcing support
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Delivery-oriented and pragmatic approach

This role requires 100% work in office, based at Tampines/Punggol.

Competitive base salary. A suite of holistic, flexible benefits to suit every lifestyle. Community initiatives. Industry-leading learning and professional development opportunities. Your wellbeing, growth and aspirations are every bit as cared for as the needs of our customers.
