As a Derivatives Support Officer at OCBC, you'll be at the heart of our trading operations, ensuring seamless execution and settlement of trades. You'll work closely with our traders, sales teams, and other stakeholders to provide top-notch support and drive business growth. It's a challenging and rewarding role that requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.
How you succeed
You will be responsible for post execution support for OTC derivative products for FX, ensuring timely and accurate capture of trades into Bank of Singapore core banking risk system. This is also a control function role requiring you to work closely with Front Office, Trading Desks, Settlements and Technology in managing the bank's risk relating to the supported product classes. These combined, you should be able to contribute significantly in a team setting, apply critical thinking to problem solving and excel under stressful conditions.

Who you are
- A degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics
- At least 2-3 years of experience in trading operations, preferably in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with traders, front office, and other stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
- Knowledge of Temenos and regulatory reporting platforms preferred
