AVP, Business Unit Management Support

Job Opportunity

This position supports the Head of O&T Financial Control and Administration in conducting financial control and management on operating expense and capital expenditure for departments under the Operations and Technology Division (O&T). The incumbent is also responsible for annual budgeting, preparing regular management reports, ad-hoc presentations and various enhancement implementation.

Main responsibilities include:

• Consolidate information from Finance, Operations, Technology departments and various sources for preparing analysis, reporting and dashboard on progress, delivery status, achievement, operational expenses and capital expenditure position.
• Prepare annual budget, financial forecasts, ad-hoc reporting and scenario analysis.
• Monitor day-to-day divisional and departmental expenses and identify the reasons behind any deviations against the budget.
• Drive implementation of financial databases, systems and other strategic enhancements to optimize efficiency and alignment with Group reporting.
• Support the preparation of presentation materials and management reports.
• Perform scenario analysis on cost management.

Who you are:

• A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, certified accountant
• At least 5 years of experience in a business finance, business management or support role
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• A strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and a focus on driving outcomes
• Skilled in using analytical tools such as Power BI
