The Test Engineer Technician works to test products prior to their official launch to identify potential problems and ensure quality. The Test Engineer Technician collaborates with the Quality, Industrial Design, Design Engineering, Production, Shipping, and Sales/Marketing departments. The Test Engineer Technician will also research advanced technology regarding testing techniques and equipment to find cost-effective solutions that can be incorporated into existing systems and equipment.
Certification in an Electronic or Mechanical field; degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred. 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of software, hardware integration, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical equipment and Humanscale electronic products. Skilled in technical documentation, mechanical measuring tools, and Lean Manufacturing principles. Possess exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
***Computer Skills:*** Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Oracle/ERP systems, and SolidWorks.
***Physical/Mental Environmental Demands:*** Lifting - Must be able to lift 50lbs. Standing - Must be able to remain standing for long periods of time. Maneuver - Frequently moves, transports, and positions equipment. Hands - Use of hands to operate tools, install, adjust & attach parts. Visual Acuity - The worker is required to have visual acuity, which is essential for tasks that require attention to detail, such as operating machinery or performing quality control. Conditions - The worker is subject to environmental conditions; role has protection from weather, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Noise - There is sufficient noise to often cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.

Hourly Range: $25.14-$36.67. Please note that the hourly range information is a general guideline.
