The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Manhattan University seeks outstanding applicants for a visiting appointment at the Assistant Professor level starting in August 2025. The department offers a concentration in Biomechanics and Aerospace at the undergraduate level, in addition to the eight concentrations currently being offered in the graduate program. The candidate should specialize in solid mechanics. Manhattan University Mechanical Engineering faculty are expected to maintain high-quality teaching. The candidate is expected to teach classes in areas including (but not limited to) Solid Mechanics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Machine Design, Manufacturing, HVAC, Building systems, etc. A successful candidate will be required to teach 24 credits per academic year.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and have a proven commitment to teaching and advising students.
