JPMorgan Chase & Co. has openings for Trading Services in New York, NY. Up to 10% domestic travel to JPMC sites.

DUTIES:

• Define and implement the strategy and governance of fails management across various products within the equities business.
• Drive initiatives to minimize risks and post-trading costs, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Challenge and develop the operational model across the equities line of business with an understanding of new business requirements and potential implementation limitations across teams globally.
• Establish governance frameworks and controls to effectively manage and mitigate risks associated with trade failures.
• Participate in industry forums and working groups to influence and shape the future of post-trade operations for equities.
• Ensure that the organization remains competitive and compliant in light of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis of trade failures and develop actionable solutions throughout the firm's internal applications to prevent recurrence and improve client experience.
• Analyze the main costs associated with securities failures and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Analyze data, generate insights, and drive decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, including front office, operations, technology, and risk management to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Lead cross-departmental initiatives to achieve operational cost reduction objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field of study plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as Trading Services, Equities Analyst, Securities Analyst, or related occupation.
• This position requires experience with the following: automating recurring reports and dashboards using Alteryx and UiPath; designing and developing interactive Excel and PowerPoint reports with functionalities including vlookup, pivots, and VBA; developing and maintaining interactive dashboards using Tableau; managing global fails market and pre-matching, including timelines, costs, buy-ins, exposure, and risks associated to fails using AccessFintech; executing the equity trade lifecycle through allocation and settlement; analyzing contra-revenue and expenses driven by cost of fails including cost of funds, risk-weighted assets, cost of capital, Rule 15c3-3, and CSDR; verifying SWIFT messaging formats and standards for secure communication of financial transactions in trade settlements and confirmations; and managing post-trade processes, including clearing, settlement, and custody of securities in Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation or Euroclear.

Full-time. Salary: $175,000 - $187,000 per year.
