Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Build and document testing scenarios leveraging JIRA and Confluence as documentation repository to detect software issues and ensure compliance with standards; build automation testing framework that can be used by other scrum teams to ensure that software running in production is bug-free; identify and document software defects and leverage data to report defects in software and in software development practices to team members; conduct testing on software problems and resolve issues based on requirements; use data driven approach to monitor health of production environment and resolve root causes of production performance issues; document test procedures to communicate how to replicate production issues; reduce production related bugs by monitoring bug resolution efforts and logging successes; contribute to agile activities and lead the point estimation (priority assignment value) for testing to promote effective in-house project collaboration. Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field + 5 years experience as a QA Engineer. 5 years experience must include creating test strategies for complex business systems, and developing automated tests. Must have at least 1 year of experience utilizing JIRA and Confluence. Salary: $189,592 per year. Position allows telecommuting from any location within the United States.
