Rehabilitation Services Aide

Job Opportunity

Prepares patients for treatment. Assists therapists in their treatment of patients. Maintains Therapy Department in a neat and orderly fashion.

Job Responsibility:

• Prepares patients for treatment by therapist; assists therapists during therapy.
• Transports patients, independently, to and from department using stretcher or wheelchair.
• Maintains equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition.
• Assists professional staff in ordering supplies; orders linens and maintains linen closet in a neat and orderly condition.
• Places patients in position for treatment and assists in transfers.
• Assembles and places equipment and supplies for use.
• Performs a variety of duties essential to the function of the department such as taking messages, entering and retrieving basic information into/from computer, performing messenger duties, etc.
• Transports equipment and supplies.
• Assists in workshops, as required.
• Performs related duties as required.

Job Qualification:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0-1 years of relevant experience, required.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). The salary range for this position is $18-$18/hour.
