Project Engineer And Civil Design Project Manager

We are seeking several highly skilled and motivated Project Engineers with over six years of experience, along with a Civil Design Project Manager, to join our growing office in New York City. The engineers will provide conceptual, permitting, and final design for a transit project in NYC, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. They will develop studies and reports for various stages of work, prepare technical specifications, and estimate construction costs.

Responsibilities:

• Design infrastructure, roadway, highway, and transit projects.
• Oversee junior staff and manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Provide engineering design services for DOT, DDC, and DEP projects.
• Handle technical design aspects of transportation, highway/roadway, and stormwater projects.
• Develop studies and reports, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.

Essential Skills:

• 6+ years experience as a civil engineer.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and Bentley Microstation/OpenRoads.
• Experience in rail/transit design.
• Ability to manage projects and oversee junior staff.
• Strong understanding of DOT, DDC, and DEP project requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• PE preferred or plans to obtain PE within six months.
• Experience in land development, site development, grading, drainage, site planning, highway design, and bridge design.
• Experience with project management.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
