Come join Unity our Ads Applied Research team to help drive the overall Ads strategy for Unity's products and services. In this position you'll be driving our applied research and analysis on how to improve the optimization and machine learning powering our ad networks, market place and audience tools.

What you'll be doing

• Drive and implement machine learning applications and solutions across the organization.
• Stay at the forefront of machine learning research to improve the organization's capabilities.
• Optimize and refine machine learning practices to establish the organization as machine learning leader.
• Formulate and validate modeling and dataset hypotheses by analyzing drivers and build development roadmap.
• Define requirements and communicate needs to product and engineering teams. Drive the overall direction of machine learning advancements to support the organization's strategic vision.

What we're looking for

• Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience as a Data Scientist or a related occupation.
• Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:
• Interpreting and translating research into practical applications;
• Developing research-driven gaming Advertisement recommendation and user profiling system that enhance system performance and user engagement, leading to measurable business impact;
• Using TensorFlow and PyTorch as well as understanding of model architectures and mechanisms to improve user engagement and further improve the performance of company's advertisement network;
• Analyzing model performance using model performance deep dive methodology and statistically bias understanding to identify key improvement areas, refining algorithms to enhance accuracy and efficiency;
• Evaluating data trends and statistical patterns using Looker and Imply to pinpoint challenges; and
• Driving informed decision-making in machine learning applications.

Hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $275,000/yr. 100% Telecommuting Permitted.

Note: Certain locations require a good faith disclosure of the base salary range for the role. The actual salary for the successful candidate may differ based on location, experience, and other job-related factors. Gross pay salary $275,000—$275,000 USD
