What You'll Do:
- Take ownership as Lead Civil Engineer on rail and transit infrastructure projects.
- Lead design efforts for stations, tracks, rail facilities, and civil infrastructure, ensuring the highest technical standards.
- Serve as the client's engineering expert, guiding them through complex design solutions.
- Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, while overseeing technical quality and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with subconsultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and design integrity.
- Contribute to business development efforts, demonstrating our technical excellence to clients and partners.
Who You Are:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 10+ years of civil engineering experience, ideally in rail and transit projects.
- Deep technical expertise across track design, station and rail facility design, utilities, and surface transportation systems.
- Comfortable in client-facing roles, confident in presenting complex engineering concepts.
- A natural mentor and leader, leading by example and inspiring teams to deliver technical excellence.
- Skilled in Civil3D, MicroStation/Geopak, or similar design software.
- Adept at preparing engineering plans, specifications, reports, and estimates.
- Collaborative, innovative, and committed to ethical, high-quality engineering practice.
