Position: Junior Civil Engineer, Newark, NJ

Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., 40 hrs/week

Duties:

• Utilize advanced knowledge of the theory and practice of structural and civil engineering, construction materials, engineering design and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections of bridges and other structures.
• Perform inspections using various advanced testing methods, mechanized access machinery, climbing or diving equipment, and drones or sonar scanning devices.
• Perform additional structural assessment-related duties as assigned or required.
• Prepare detailed technical reports supported by engineering drawings to address among others, design deficiencies or environmental deterioration, and recommend specific remedial actions.
• Recommend improvement of structural integrity and safety.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in civil engineering

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

$100,131/Year, 9am-5 pm, 40 hrs/wk.
