As the HR Generalist, you will deliver a comprehensive range of human resources services aligned with company business objectives, strategic goals, and HR initiatives. You will act as the primary HR contact for our remote workforce regarding HR-related matters. In partnership with Senior HR Managers, you will assist both managers and employees in effectively utilizing HR tools to optimize performance, enhance engagement, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Additional areas of focus will include leading and supporting HR initiatives in employee relations, performance management, compensation, corporate social responsibility (CSR), employee engagement activities, immigration coordination, onboarding and offboarding, training, and other special projects as required.
BA / BS preferred. HR-related degree preferred. PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred. 3+ years of direct experience in HR required; HR Generalist experience preferred. Knowledge of HR best practices, applicable federal, state, and local employment laws/regulations. Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel. Strong writing and communication skills, strong analytical ability and strong attention to detail. Superior customer service orientation toward Business Units requiring HR consult (responsive, consultative, collaborative and accurate). Able to work with a variety of people and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. Strong project management skills: Plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, to achieve project objectives and deadlines. Sound judgment when responding to and handling various employee matters. Experience in insurance organizations and/or international companies preferred. Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Salary range $70,000 to $80,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
