The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function provides a cross-risk view of the Bank's risk profile across risk types, businesses and geographies. The function also owns risk type overarching responsibility (design & implementation) for key risk management capabilities, like risk appetite, risk identification, group wide stress testing as well as the climate and environment risk management. The position is embedded in the ERM Group Portfolio and Climate Risk team which is responsible for the group-wide risk appetite framework, cross risk analytics as well as the climate risk framework and interacts with multiple stakeholders across the Firm (first, second and third Line of Defense (1LoD, 2LoD and 3LoD).

You will lead the annual and ad-hoc adjustments of the risk appetite for key US entities and in this process in particular the regional senior stakeholder engagement (across 1Lod & 2LoD) while maintain the connectivity to the group framework components
You will sign-off on the regional risk and capital profile and weekly risk report
You will represent Enterprise Risk Management in regional leadership meetings (US Operations Management, Risk Council; Risk Committee of the Deutsche Bank USA Corp. Board of Directors; Regional Credit Risk Executive Council) as well as the regional regulatory engagement processes related to and beyond the above outlined process
You will own regional framework and policy documents related to the before outlined responsibilities
You will encourage solutions that support the Bank's vision, goals, and strategy, whilst understanding the regulatory landscape
Maintain knowledge of current and emerging industry trends and standards, risk management practices, legal and changes in the regulatory and operating environment
You will lead the local stakeholder engagement during the Bank's annual strategic plan process, working closely with business and 2LoD functions to review the plan dynamics, implications to risk appetite and risk profile and to challenge any misalignment of strategy and risk appetite
You will lead the regional senior management engagement to maintain comprehensive regional risk inventory with specific focus on identify new and emerging risks
You will lead the Comprehensive Capital Analysis Review Stress Scenario Design Process Deutsche Bank USA Corp
Deep knowledge of Risk Management principles and practices, specifically risk appetite
In depth understanding of the US specific regulatory environment and the supervisory focuses and perspective
Demonstrable experience of developing strong working relationships with business areas to facilitate successful risk management within the 3 Lines of Defense model
Worked with Senior Stakeholders within a high pressure, time sensitive and rapidly evolving environment
Excellent presentation and communication skills in senior management fora to concisely present complex framework components with interdependencies

The salary range for this position in New York City is $170,000 to $280,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
