Job Description:

Maintain and support application instances including fixing code breaks to support Medidata's business functionality. Perform Salesforce administrative tasks for user administration, security administration, reports and dashboards management. Assist with Salesforce AppExchange packages, connected apps and other parts of environment administration including user, application security and licensing. Work with project teams to determine an appropriate build schedule and then initiates the build and packaging process. Compiles, assemble and migrate software from source code across the environments. Ensure tools, code and configurations are stored in source control. Use Gearset / DevOps tools to automate and streamline deployments. Write installation scripts and programs for installation of products. Use SFDC declarative programming (point and click) functionality to configure SFDC to meet business requirements. Develop code using developer console and Salesforce toolsets in addition to AppExchange packages.

Job Requirements:

Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or in related field. Special Requirements:

1. Perform the pre and post deployment tasks for the minor and major releases on Full UAT, Stage, and production environments in Salesforce.
2. Refresh the sandboxes for the development teams according to the requirement and maintain the user access for those sandboxes.
3. Provide ongoing maintenance and administration services including periodic data cleansing, custom objects, workflows, and regular user round up for application improvement ideas.
4. AutoRabit for Salesforce deployments and Azure DevOps for .NET application deployments.
5. Creating and working with Event Monitoring Analytics feature.
6. Working with IDM to provision users in production environment.
7. Working with Odaseva platform to create backup of the data.
8. Working with Deployment Tools in Change Sets, ANT based Migration.
