Cybersecurity Engineer

An employer is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team in NYC. He/she will lead PAM solution deployments across hybrid environments, implementing advanced access models like ZSP and JIT. Additionally, this engineer will configure and maintain secure access controls for Active Directory, Entra ID, Linux, and cloud platforms while performing regular access reviews. He/she will deploy and manage data protection solutions such as DLP and encryption to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and oversee vulnerability management programs using Qualys, conduct security assessments, and drive remediation efforts. This is a collaborative role with IT and application teams to align security initiatives with business objectives and continuously improve the organization's security posture. Compensation for this role is 65-100/hr per hour. Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements:

• 5+ years of Cybersecurity Engineering experience
• Strong experience with PAM (experience with CyberArk or similar)
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management such as Qualys
• Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, etc.
• Azure experience
