Cloud Data Engineer

Insurance Services Office, Inc. seeks a Cloud Data Engineer in Jersey City, NJ. Duties include planning, designing, developing, and maintaining the data architecture, data models, data pipelines, and standards for various data integration and data warehouse projects in cloud data warehouse. Ensure new features and subject areas are modeled to integrate with existing structures and provide a consistent view. Develop and maintain documentation of the data architecture, data flow, and data models of the data warehouse appropriate for various audiences. Provide direction on the adoption of cloud technologies (Redshift, Postgres, Snowflake) and industry best practices in the field of data warehouse architecture and modeling. Providing technical leadership to large enterprise scale projects.

Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; plus 1 year of related experience. Requires 1 year of experience in all of the following:

• Data Warehousing Platforms
• AWS Services (Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, EMR, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, SQS, ECS, EKS, Fargate)
• Spark and Hadoop
• SQL, Python
• DevOps CI/CD
• Business Intelligence Platforms

Work from home permitted 1-2 days per week. Must work at employer’s office in Jersey City, NJ other days.
