Position Summary: Reporting to the Vice President for External Affairs, this fellowship offers a hands-on opportunity to support the development and launch of the first-of-its-kind Bronx Green Jobs Center (BGJC). The Fellow represents the interests of Fordham's students, faculty, and staff, and cultivates relationships with community stakeholders to organize and begin Marketing and Communications processes for opening the BGJC. If you are considering a career in Community engagement or Communications/Marketing, this fellowship will provide you with the opportunity to gain an understanding of community organizing, marketing/communications/strategy development, and event planning. Fellows must be members of a defined Priority Population and residents of New York's 14th Congressional District. This 15-month grant-funded position is made possible through the Climate Justice Fellowship Plus Program and is contingent upon continued grant funding from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
