We invite you to apply for the Admin Services Specialist position, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment and empowering our engineers and scientists. This dynamic role involves composing and sending site-wide announcements of meetings. You will be responsible for managing office supplies, coordinating minor repairs, assisting with facilities management for external contractors, handling shipping and receiving, tracking guest passes, and supporting site-specific new employee onboarding, from seating arrangements to IT equipment and supply assistance.
Order and organize office supplies, like the following:
Coordinate minor office repairs/maintenance (light bulb replacement, etc.)
Work with Facilities Management when external contractors come in for work
Be present to monitor the work and escort around premises
Assist with shipping and receiving of packages
Log and track guest passes/ID cards (for contractors, visitors, etc.)
Assist with site-specific on-boarding of new employees (coordinate seating, acquire personal IT equipment, some HR tasks, help them find supplies, etc.)
