We are looking for a highly innovative and passionate engineer to join our team that is developing and supporting AI / ML based solutions on the i.MX applications processors.

Your Responsibilities

To be the key contact providing expert-level technical support for Field Application Engineers (FAEs) that work on projects with the key customers:

• To be the key expert for new product bring-ups, HW design, SoC characterization and benchmarking
• To drive design wins at key customers by working with the sales teams
• By cooperating within and across teams, identify software bugs and develop test cases to demonstrate solutions that meet customer requirements
• To develop demonstration systems leveraging hardware and software integration.
• To create application notes, white papers, and user guide documentation
• To develop internal training modules for cross training purposes

This position focuses on the development of embedded applications and customer support in the area of AI/ML.

The Systems Engineering organization is a customer-facing section of NXP, which is responsible for the quality of the enablement and collateral that surrounds the i.MX solutions, delivering ease of use and out of box experience to the customers. Your Profile

To be successful in this role you should have:

• A university degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Science
• Experience in programming of embedded systems in C/C++
• Experience with high level programming and scripting languages, ​​such as Python or Bash
• Experience with Linux in embedded environment
• Ability to quickly learn and grasp new technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)

The following qualifications / skills are an advantage:

• Knowledge of development tools: Git, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bamboo, BitBucket)
• Agility and flexibility with changing priorities and business needs and in working with diverse teams and people
• Previous experience with AI/ML-based projects
• Previous experience with customer support or applications engineer role
• Strong presentation skills

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract.

Compensation: Besides attractive and market salary, you will be eligible for our bonus plan and receive lunch vouchers, additional vacation days, sick days, and possibility to buy company shares with a 15 % discount.
