Platform And Silicon Validation Tools Engineer

We are seeking Platform and Silicon Validation Tools Engineers who are passionate about their work and committed to making a positive impact in the world through their innovations. As a member of the Silicon Solution Group (SSG), you would play a very meaningful role in chip/product bring-up and validation. You will collaborate with various teams to drive/develop automation solutions for silicon/platform test coverage, and improve test efficiency for chip characterization, particularly in Data Centers. Through this position, besides software programming/debugging skills, you will learn more about GPU/SOC features and the chip validation method/process.

What you'll be doing:

1. Get familiar with NVIDIA's design and verification development environment, flow, and process.
2. Brainstorm with board design teams, silicon solution teams, software teams, and application engineer teams to settle down specific requirements and choose suitable methodologies to develop the platform/silicon validation infrastructure.
3. Research on NVIDIA in-house or industry commercial design for verification applications.
4. Integrate existing applications into the infrastructure flow or develop new applications based on the infrastructure flow to facilitate chip/product feature qualifications and improve coverage/efficiency.
5. Develop and extend Silicon Validation Tools, specifically for utilizing tools.
6. Your expertise will help architect crucial next-generation product features and work with multi-functional teams to drive them to production.
7. Contribute to the evaluation and enhancement of the benchmark tool for energy efficiency.

What we need to see:

• MS in EE, CE, CS, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of software tool development experience.
• Familiar with AI models.
• Strong skills in Python, C/C++, or Java.
• Good system validation knowledge, including CPU, memory, GPU, PCIE, and thermal/power control.
• Experience developing and extending silicon validation tools is desirable.
• Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem-solving, good time management, and task prioritization skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
