Position Overview

The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and purchasing vehicles from private sellers and online marketplaces. This role plays a key part in helping our dealerships maintain a strong inventory by proactively engaging with individuals looking to sell their vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Purchase vehicles through Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer (ICO).
• Source vehicles for dealership inventory through private party sales.
• Communicate with individuals selling their vehicles on third-party websites such as Autotrader, Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist.
• Build rapport with vehicle owners and guide them through the selling process.
• Schedule appointments for vehicle owners to visit the showroom and sell their vehicles.
• Provide a professional and positive customer experience throughout every interaction.

Education & Skill Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
