Nucar Chevrolet, a dealership in the Wilmington Delaware area, has an opening in our Chevrolet service department. We're seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. Here at Nucar we are committed to excellence and are looking for a technician that has great communication skills and the ability to diagnose problems effectively.

The service technician services vehicles assigned by management following all established standards and procedures as prescribed by the manufacturer. We strive to deliver the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Competitive pay with the potential to earn $100,000-$150,000 per year depending on experience. We are excited to announce that we are offering a $10,000 hiring bonus for the right candidate! Eligibility for the sign-on bonus will be dependent on skills, experience, and mastery of the trade. Conditions of the sign-on bonus will be discussed upon a contingent job offer.

Job Description

• Automotive service technician experience is required
• Team oriented, flexible, and committed to maintaining a high level of customer service
• Ensure that the required documentation is completed and is compliant with regulations and standards
• Working knowledge of shop equipment
• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules
• Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required
• Extremely dependable and excellent work ethic
• Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to submit to background check

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive servicing and repair required
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Neat, clean and professional appearance
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Highly professional and dependable
• Safety and computer service oriented
• Basic computer and internet skills
