NTT has a fantastic opportunity for a Data Centre Engineer to join our Technology Transformation business unit and work with the leading vendors of the industry in delivering quality networking outcomes for our clients. • SME in the below vendor technologies
• Demonstrate 5+ years Professional Services & Project Delivery experience.
• Proficient in the following technologies:
• Cloud Transform/Migrate: Azure
• On-Prem: VMWare (VCentre, ESX, NSX-T/V)
• Server/Storage: Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp (experienced in at least 2 of 3)
• Data Protection: Commvault, Veeam, Dell Avamar (experience in at least 2 of 3)
• Extras: Express Route, Multicloud Provisioning Tool, Cloud Discovery Tool (eg Device 42)

Ensure client satisfaction: Data Centre Engineers work closely with clients, displaying good client engagement skills with a high level of professionalism. They are required to interact with clients on site to meet complex requirements of a solution.

Compile and Maintain project administration: The individual demonstrates the ability to work within a controlled project environment and understands project management lifecycle. They write design documents, implementation and test plans, assist with transition to operations documentation and support Project Managers in updating key project control documentation.

Execute installations: Data Centre Engineers have good project skills which are demonstrated in the execution of installations and migrations to a high level of quality and stringent change control. Project certification and the understanding and adoption of NTT's Primer methodology is encouraged.

Act on specialist knowledge: The Data Centre Engineer is expected to have a thorough understanding of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization, and be able to execute against a Discovery, Design, Implementation/Migration and Test Plan.

Behavioral skills: As corporate citizens they are good team players and exhibit the required level of collaboration skills. They demonstrate two-way communication and listen to understand other's point of view. The individual displays a good understanding of business principles. These individuals are client focused and display a proactive approach to solving problems. They work well under pressure and demonstrate the ability to work within a support team, contributing to their success.
