We are currently seeking a Service Delivery Mgr/Project Manager - Cloud Services to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX). You will take a key role in NTT Data Cloud Service Delivery Management practice and Program Management Office. The Cloud Service Delivery Manager/Project Manager works directly with cross-functional teams across the company to support our clients in their migration/transition to the Cloud as well as with long-term engagements (steady-state) as Service Delivery Manager (SDM); managing the interests of NTT Data but also aligning these with our Clients' Cloud needs.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Identifying customer needs and overseeing service delivery within the business context.
  • Managing finances and budgets and tracking contract deliverables.
  • Determining ways to reduce costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction.
  • Assessing customer feedback and using your creativity to establish, improve, and refine services.
  • Building partnerships and liaising with team leaders to determine the company's services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise.
  • Providing status, updates, and dashboards to client stakeholders. Mitigate risk and accelerate resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Responsible for developing and meeting project plans/schedules, defining project execution requirements, and managing communications.
  • P&L Control, Complex Negotiations, MS Project and Planning Techniques, Risk Logs, Deviations and Mitigations, scope control.
  • Responsible for coordinating projects through various communications, data collection, and analysis. May act as Project Manager on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills to effectively achieve project objectives whilst maintaining a strong sense of urgency. Functional experience in multiple business areas.
  • Ability to relate business knowledge to complex problems.
  • Additionally, the candidate must have a very strong ability to deal with ambiguity and drive for results. The ability to summarize and present information concisely and clearly for review and approval is a must.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in Project Management in a technical or infrastructure-related role.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and demonstrated ability to create and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure components such as networking, servers, storage, and virtualization.
  • Familiarity with Cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
  • Proven track record of identifying and resolving issues that arise during project execution.
  • Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to overcome challenges and obstacles.
  • Experience mitigating project risks and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven consensus-building skills in a remote role.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather requirements and drive project success.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter, energetic, flexible, innovative, and willing to get things done.
  • Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferences:

  • 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Deep domain experience with 3+ years of work experience in Services, cloud computing, or technical project delivery.
  • Enterprise work experience dealing with highly complex situations is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing technical and executive-level relationships (IT Director, VP, and C-level).
  • PMP, ITIL, Agile, Azure, AWS and GCP certifications preferred.

Flexible availability required for this position since it is to support a 24/7 operation (including night shift and weekend coverage).
