As a Special Sales Specialist for Cybersecurity, you will take on a central role in sales. You will identify new opportunities, win customers, and develop existing customers. You will work closely with our account teams, Cisco, as well as our consulting and delivery units. Your mission: not only to make our customers safer, but to enable them to unlock new potentials and grow.

This position is sales- and goal-oriented, with high visibility and clear development prospects in an international environment.

Your Tasks:

  • Win new customers and expand existing accounts – with a clear focus on cybersecurity solutions and services.
  • Position NTT DATA Security Services with a focus on Cisco Security Solutions – e.g. Secure Firewall, Universal ZTNA, Hybrid Mesh Firewall, Identity & Access, XDR/Splunk, Hypershield. Manage the entire sales process – from needs analysis to offers to closing.
  • Accompany customers as a trusted advisor and translate business and IT requirements into concrete security strategies.
  • Develop go-to-market initiatives and campaigns to target the market.
  • Work closely with Cisco and internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Represent NTT DATA at events, webinars, and customer workshops.
  • Ensure a smooth handover to delivery and create the basis for renewals and upselling.

Your Profile:

  • Several years of experience in the sales of IT or cybersecurity solutions, ideally with Cisco Security.
  • Success in building and expanding customer relationships and closing complex deals.
  • Understanding of current security trends such as Zero Trust, Cloud Security, AI-Defense, and resilience.
  • Strong communication and consulting skills with technical and business stakeholders (IT management, CISO, procurement).
  • Hunter mentality, initiative, and a structured, goal-oriented approach.
  • Fluent German and very good English skills.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Completed degree (business, IT or equivalent) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Certifications in the area of Solution Selling, SPIN or comparable sales methods are advantageous.
  • Cisco or other relevant security certifications are desirable.
