We are currently seeking a Messaging Services Senior Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Performs complex issue analysis and may perform SME role on accounts. Exchange On-Premises Relay, Defender for O365 services, AVePoint Governance and Compliance

Providing steady state support to the email infrastructure, handling on-call support responsibilities, handling escalations, critical issues, server maintenance activities, mentoring team members, and other day-to-day support operations. Expert on Email security solutions-Proofpoint for email security, Exchange online protection, and Defender for O365

Role and Responsibilities:

• Managing and administering Proofpoint Protection servers for the customers.
• Support and manage Cloud and On-premises Proofpoint appliances.
• Support and manage On-premises and Cloud TRAP appliances.
• Support and maintain the EFD environment.
• Support and manage Proofpoint TAP.
• Support and manage Proofpoint Browser Isolation.
• Plan and Coordinate with the vendor for regular health checks and implement vendor recommendations
• Provides deep subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery.
• Support 24x7 steady state operations-Flexible working in US business hours for all required work done and during weekends.
• Contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise.
• Thorough understanding and management of customer business needs and expectations.
• Works on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables.
• Integrates trends, data and information into plans, deliverables and recommendations.
• Provides advanced technical support within area of expertise to clients on complex integration issues and is often in a lead role within major projects.
• Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures.
• Candidates must have exceptional customer service, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and with a global team of engineers.
• Strong team player with ability to work in a team and as individual contributor.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Technical Skillset:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Proofpoint Email security Solution.
• Expertise in Proofpoint email security administration and technical support.
• Strong understanding of Office 365 security and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
