We are currently seeking a Computer Support Technician for Clinic / Ambulatory to join our team in Tarzana, California (US-CA), United States (US).

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Computer Support Technician to join our on-site IT team at a hospital. This role is responsible for supporting, repairing, replacing, and relocating computers and peripherals throughout the facility. While healthcare experience is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications. Relocate and set up IT equipment for staff moves and department changes. Use ServiceNow to manage and document support tickets and work performed. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to minimize disruption to patient care. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary. Ensure compliance with hospital IT policies, including data security and privacy standards. Support mobile devices and hospital-specific applications. Assist with onboarding and offboarding of hospital staff from an IT perspective. Participate in routine maintenance, patching, and updates of systems. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in IT preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment. Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.

Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)

CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) ITIL Foundation Certification
