We are seeking a high-performing Sales Director to lead our Slovak commercial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex solutions tailored to market needs. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate across departments to align sales efforts with broader business goals.

You will be accountable for the overall sales strategy, team performance, client relationships, and reporting to regional and global management. This is a key leadership role with a direct impact on the success of our Slovak branch.

This position is part of the local country Slovakian management team, being responsible of not only driving expansion, but also maintaining and nurturing the existing high performing Slovakian sales department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement effective sales strategies to meet company objectives and maximize revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve targets and grow professionally.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Drive long-term planning, opportunity creation, and successful delivery of complex projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with GTM, marketing, and product teams to develop market-relevant solutions.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior and regional management.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor emerging markets, competitive landscape, and customer trends to inform strategy.
  • Customer Engagement: Partner with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Territory Management: Own and exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in sales leadership roles, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to inspire, guide, and manage high-performing teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Expertise in developing and executing strategic sales plans aligned with business goals.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence at all organizational levels, including C-level.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data and market dynamics to support decision-making.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Experience in developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
  • Presentation & Negotiation: Skilled in delivering compelling proposals and presentations, and negotiating effectively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of telecommunications technologies (e.g., cloud, networking, cybersecurity).
  • Language Skills: Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel to clients outside Bratislava as needed.
